GRAVAMAIS is an engraving and personalization shop in Creixomil, Guimarães, with a physical store you can walk into. It makes self-inking stamps, numbering and dating stamps, embossing seals, wax seals, signage, cups and trophies, license plates, apparel and gifts, for businesses and individuals.
Problem
The catalog was the challenge: over two hundred products in eight very different families, from a pocket stamp to a glow-in-the-dark sign. Someone looking for an oval stamp doesn't want to trip over trophies, and someone buying for a company wants to find the right model without calling to ask.
Then, payment. In Portugal, lots of people want to pay with MB WAY and give up on a complicated checkout. The store had to accept the methods people already use and make clear, right from the start, when shipping is on the house.
Approach
We organized the catalog by family and, within stamps, by shape and function: self-inking, oval, square, rectangular, round, pocket, numbering and dating. Each category shows how many products it holds, so customers know right away where to look.
Checkout takes Visa, Mastercard, MB WAY and PayPal, and free shipping on orders over €50 to mainland Portugal is announced in the store. There are customer accounts, a wishlist and live chat, for anyone who'd rather ask a question before buying.
Results
The store is live at gravamais.pt, with the “Powered by RETX.PT” signature in the footer. The Creixomil counter is still open, and the whole catalog is now online too, one click away, any time.
In Google reviews, customers praise Mr. Miguel's service — and the store was built not to spoil that: understated in gray and white, with the products up front and no tricks at checkout.
