CasaGaea Stay occupies the third floor of a building on Rua Dom Afonso Henriques, in Braga's historic center. There are five rooms named after oceans, from the Arctic to the Mediterranean, plus a shared kitchen, common rooms and coworking desks with fast internet.
Problem
The challenge was the concept itself. A hostel, a coworking space and a student residence speak to different people: the traveler passing through, someone who needs a desk for a few days and the student looking for a home. The site had to serve all three without looking like a patchwork.
Since the whole site is in English, made for guests from abroad, each room had to explain itself: how many guests it sleeps, what beds it has, what you see from the window. And the path to booking had to be direct.
Approach
We gave each room its own page, with capacity and bed type, and pulled them all onto one page where you can compare everything at a glance. The “Book a stay” button is always in the menu and goes straight to the Cloudbeds booking engine, with availability in plain sight.
The house and the city got pages of their own. “The House” introduces the place; “Braga” gathers what's a few minutes' walk away — the Sé cathedral, Avenida Central, the train station — with a Google Maps link for each spot. The gallery rounds it off.
Results
Today CasaGaea Stay has a site on its own domain, casagaeastay.com, where you get what the place is, pick a room and go straight to direct booking — all in a few pages, no detours.
The design is understated and bright, with photos of the house up front and little text in the way. A site that looks like CasaGaea: calm, tidy and easy for anyone who's never set foot there.
